Visit Church of our Lady of the Assumption - Vila Nova Baronia

Located in the Town of Vila Nova da Baronia, County of Alvito, built in the sixteenth century, this church is an example of Mannerist architecture level. The size reflects the importance of the village and its interior witness the wealth with the various altars and gilded, the Mannerist painting of altarpieces and ceiling tiles.

Of square plan, has a unique vaulted ceiling. From either side, two towers topped by turrets shaped pyramid. In the chapel, can be enjoyed valuable tiles of the eighteenth century.
