Visit the Roman Bridge Quelfes

The Roman Bridge Quelfes, also known as Old Bridge Quelfes, was built in the first century AD, and rebuilt on several occasions, considered one of the most important road structures at the time of Roman occupation exist today within the eastern Algarve.
Its structure is relatively modest, assuming then that it was a bridge crossing a side road connection to any land and private villas.
With a historic status, the bridge is mostly recognized because of their vicinity Napoleon's troops were defeated on June 18, 1808.
The Roman Bridge has recently undergone restoration work in 2005.
